Free Valentine Conversation Hearts Worksheet

Grade Levels

Freebie! Here is a meaningful math lesson/worksheet to use with a box of Valentine heart candy. This activity is perfect for 1st and 2nd graders. (Kinders and 3rd graders can also take advantage.) Each student (or a pair of students) will need a box of Conversation Hearts. The colors used in this worksheet are: GREEN, ORANGE, PINK, PURPLE, WHITE, and YELLOW. You will NEED candy hearts that match these colors in order for the worksheet to make sense and work well for students.

There are 2 worksheets included. Copy the worksheets back to back to save paper.

If you are on a tight budget, ask parents to bring in the heart candy. I've also purchased a big bag of Conversation Hearts and then I gave each student a handful of hearts to complete the worksheet. Once students complete the math worksheet, they can eat the candy hearts.

This worksheet has students comparing, adding, graphing, estimating, and doing fun math!

Use this worksheet for your math lesson on or near Valentine's Day. You can also send the worksheet home for homework. However you use this resource, your students will be learning and enjoying math!
