Description

These free cards are part of the printable called "Daily Scripture Cards: a verse a day to encourage and inspire." (Click here to view the full product).

The full product version of these cards is designed to serve as a calendar to help you track the days of school and receive a fresh word of Biblical encouragement on a daily basis.

Each day's card features a different Bible verse. I've carefully selected every scripture that is included: they are verses that have been particularly inspirational and uplifting to me in my work as a teacher. The verses are in the New International Version (NIV) unless otherwise indicated. My personal goal is to meditate on one of

these verses each day, and by making the cards available to you, I'm hoping the cards will serve as a memorization tool for you, as well.

If you choose to purchase the full product, you’ll receive:

•Numbered cards in color

•Numbered cards in black and white

•Un-numbered cards in color

•Un-numbered cards in black and white

The numbered cards in the product are labeled with 1-200, so you can begin with card 1 on the first day of school and continue until the last day (counting teacher work days if you wish.) If you prefer not to count the days of school, an unnumbered version of the cards is also included (and shown in this freebie.)

After you’ve chosen which set best meets your needs, I recommend printing and cutting apart the entire set and storing the cards in an index card box. You can then take out a month’s worth of cards at a time and use a binder clip to hold them together. Another idea is to punch holes in the cards and place them on an“o” ring/book ring.

Clip the cards to your lesson plan binder or teacher’s guide so you will be reminded of the verse throughout the day. You can also hang the cards on your wall, bulletin board, refrigerator, etc. If you teach in a Christian school, you could display the day’s card for your students and discuss it together.

This item was added January 1, 2014.

Be sure to check out my website where there are hundreds of pages of classroom management resources that make teaching more effective, efficient, and enjoyable! You'll find photos, activities, printable forms/posters, and more.

Enjoy!
