IF YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THIS PRIOR TO APRIL 19, DOWNLOAD AGAIN FOR UPDATES (INCLUDING LETTER Q) AND A LINK TO EDIT YOUR COPY! THANKS!
Students in upper elementary and even middle school can benefit from creating alphabet books to enhance vocabulary development. Use this resource to invite students to create their own "from scratch" alphabet books, or with the 2 different letter templates provided to create a class or small group book. This is a PDF that includes:
-Link to GOOGLE SLIDES where you can edit your own copy
-Color and BW learning targets pages
-Task card with optional "idea" page for back
-Group self-assessment tool (two pages to be copied front to back)
-Naming the source prompt page
-6 box planning page
-2 alphabet letter templates; one version provides detailed supports for students while the other is more open-ended
These resources were created with my students in mind so they might need tweaking to be just right for yours. If you have a question on printing or suggestion to make the product better for your students, please email me at email@example.com and I’ll do my best to help you out. In my experience, different printers (inkjet, laser, different brands) can sometimes have different results so a test print is helpful. I like to make things in black and white and use colored paper to add some frills. :)
Please do not share resources with other teachers without an additional license. Please send them a link to my store to show your support for teachers like me!
