Thank you for downloading this resource! I use “Absent Folders” all of the time in my classroom. I put one on each absent student’s desk daily. Throughout the day, I stuff the folders with any work we have done. This makes it especially easy when parents want to pick up work. It also makes it simple for the student when they return; as they have everything they need in one handy spot. I make sure the student empties the contents and returns it back to me by the end of the day.
To make these absent folders, you will need a few pocket folders. Just print off whichever sheet you like in this download and glue it to the top. I laminate the folders and this helps to preserve them for a couple of years before having to make new ones.
I hope you enjoy using this free resource. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I appreciate your feedback and love to read your comments!
