1. Preguntas initiales These are questions about the artwork in general to prime students and get them thinking about the purpose of art. These questions can be used as writing prompts, or pre-discussion. In fact, teachers can pose a question every day to students, or have them discuss the questions in groups. These questions also go beyond the scope of art and ask about the function of art and it's value for society.

2. Citas y frases de Frida

Frida had so many inspirational sayings! A selected number of quotes have been included. Students simply read the quotes and then respond to three questions. The questions include a personal connection to at least one of the quotes.
