Freebie Friday: Halloween Haiku Bookmarks
Trick-or-Treat: Stay tuned to Spark Creativity this month for Halloween freebies each Friday!
In this packet you’ll find everything you need for a fun October classroom activity.
Design a Bookmark: In this activity, students follow the instructions on the printable or projectable sign to create a fun Halloween bookmark with an original haiku.
This makes a great opening activity or a fun station for the month of October.
As a station: Simply print the instructions and a number of bookmark sheets. Then cut out the bookmarks (or put out scissors for your students to do so) and leave the instructions and bookmarks out at a table. You could laminate the bookmarks, make a bulletin board display, put them out in the library, or just let students take them home to use.
As an opening activity: Project the instructions or copy them onto your board. Cut out a variety of bookmarks and let students choose one on their way in. Then complete the activity.
