Enjoy this freebie of the Butterfly Tracing articulation activity! This Butterfly Tracing no prep speech therapy activity includes a page for initial /l/, final /l/, /l/ blends, and two blank versions (that you can use with any student). The Butterfly Trace speech therapy activity is a fun way to target your articulation goals in your speech therapy sessions while incorporating pre-writing strokes! Target speech sound production while doing a cute fine motor activity. There are 10 pretty butterflies with tracing lines on each page alongside words (with pictures) targeting your students' speech sounds (perfect for spring, summer, March, April, May, June, bug/insect, caterpillar, flower, or butterfly themes).

Before tracing on a butterfly, the student can practice their speech sound. Each page includes 10 different pictures with words to practice their speech sound in the initial and/or final positions of words. This activity was created for students in speech therapy, but it would be appropriate to use in RTI, language arts centers, ELL, small groups, and also for a whole class activity. This is a great activity for co-treatment with an occupational therapist, too!
