The video following this activity can be found online while it is still in circulation. It is about a girl who goes to school with a mask on only to find that every other student in the school has a mask as well. She has a transformative moment where she takes off her mask and encourages everyone else to do the same.
The short film is in English, but there are very few words if any. The imagery is what is of chief importance. After watching the video, students can go on to answer questions immediately following. The goal is to get them to think about their identity and the shaping forcing around it. While there is nothing appropriate about this video, it is best suited for Spanish 2+, at least if the aim is for deep discussion around the topic.
