Product Description
This is a simple song about Harriet Tubman, suitable for any celebration of Black History Month or for general use. Includes a recording and song sheet with just lyrics for students. The piano part is playable by any intermediate piano student. Comes with a flute part playable by a beginning flautist. Song can be accompanied adequately and easily without flute part if desired. Some basic facts about Harriet Tubman are included within the song, allowing the general music teacher to make connections to other subjects and reinforce classroom learning. The song is easy to learn and repetitive enough to be used with very young children, but could also be performed by older children. Could also be used in general classroom to enhance study of Civil War or Black History Month.
