This is a lit log for Freedom's Price an excellent historical fiction by Michaela MacColl and Rosemary Nichols. It is the story of Eliza Scott, Dred and Harriet Scott's daughter. This second book in the Hidden Histories Series about children and little-known events in American history is about slavery, pre-Civil War America, and the Dred Scott decision.
