Freeze Video: Self Regulation, Classroom / Behavioral Management, Mindfulness

The Introductory Video from the Freeze Module is designed for young children (3-8yrs) and is a great addition to circle time and/or can be used in 1 to 1 instructional settings to address multiple Social Emotional Learning standards. The video also serves as a springboard for literacy center activities and can be used to address multiple Common Core Standards.

Engaging visuals and a catchy song guide children through a focused listening practice that exercises attention control (e.g. focus and concentration), self regulation (e.g. impulse control) and other social emotional skills that are essential to success in the classroom and beyond. Freeze also serves as a powerful behavioral management strategy, providing children with a structured approach to calming and relaxation.
