Student note sheet and guided notes on food vocabulary, ingredient vocabulary, fun food expressions, and direct object pronoun notes.
Several practices that review vocabulary
A packet of 6 practices just on direct objects and direct object pronouns
A puzzle activity to review vocabulary and direct object pronouns
A quiz on vocabulary and one on direct object pronouns with listening scripts
The project that's included has students choose a relatively simple recipe and "fake bake/make" it using props. They will provide a list of ingredients and the steps to make it using vocabulary and direct object pronouns. (You'll need 2 cups of flour. Put the eggs in the bowl and beat them. I have students bring in props and I use plastic food items for the presentation part. Models, directions, and rubrics are included. For extra credit, I have students actually make the recipe at home and video record themselves going through the steps. We then have a party where the students can bring in the food they made.
