This lesson is for beginner students. Through orally repeating and role playing invitations, students will learn a few ways how to ask a friend to go someplace in town and respond positively. The pictures provide hints at vocabulary meaning. Once students are comfortable with pronunciation, split the class in two and have them role play the inviter and invitee. Then, have them repeat with a neighbor. I follow this exercise with T'es Branché Level 1 workbook pg. 9 #20A. I then show a mini culture film on Youtube focusing on either French cafes, cinema, or parks, whichever I think my class of students will most prefer.
