This 86 slide powerpoint will guide your students through the process of choosing between partitive, definite, and indefinite articles. It uses visually pleasing and easy to understand graphics (pizza, sandwich, apple, pie, cookie, and orange). It also includes guidance on using articles with quantities, negative expressions, and preceding plural adjectives. The slides are color coded and when I give my students the notes, I have them use highlighters to help them associate the articles with colors. In addition to providing notes and practice, there are several slides for students to practice changing articles with changing contextual information.
