This powerpoint begins with a review of "avoir" and pictures and vocabulary of 14 "avoir" expressions with example sentences. There are then three games/activities.The first games has pictures of "avoir expressions" are covered by colorful squares. When the teacher clicks the mouse or hits the space-bar a block disappears revealing a part of the object. The other blocks disappear with each subsequent click. Students have to guess (in the target language) what the expression before it is completely revealed. On the last click the word appears on the screen. This is a great template for any kind of vocabulary or language. The second has pictures come on the screen then go off. Students have to identify the expressions (I usually give a subject in advance). The last activity has all of the pictures and on the click one of them spins. The students identify as in the previous activity. These are great for individual students, whole-class activities, or as competitions in class.
