A little freebie that will help French primary teachers. I had a few CDs and some iTunes singles that I purchased that I used for songs to help with French basics. But it was a pain to keep switching them back and forth and not have them in a nice order.
This list has songs in order of how you can teach your class. Starting with "O Canada", then the hello song, alphabet, days of the week, etc and all the way ending with some fun French songs/rhymes and finally the goodbye song.
You will have to find the songs yourself. Alain Le Lait's are available on itunes, Poutine I transferred from the CD I bought (unsure if on iTunes), Diane Ducey's music is available online at a website called Songs for Learning (French language), Etienne's was available on itunes, O Canada was on iTunes, Beth Manners and Chanteurs Pour Enfants are also on iTunes.
Younger kids love learning French with singing. Once I put all of this into a playlist on iTunes, I was able to make a CD. All music was legally purchased before making the CD and I strongly recommend you do the same.
