Each booklet contains 12 pages: the title page with 11 additional pages. Also included are suggestions for using the booklets and an assembly instruction page. The title page asks Qu'est-ce qui fait mal and each subsequent page responds with j'ai mal plus a body part. Body parts included are knee, throat, stomach, arm, leg, tooth, ear, head, nose, foot, and back.
Students first cut, assemble and read the booklet containing text and illustrations. They then create their own version using the text only template.
The illustration version can be projected in class to present, review and practice pronunciation of the body parts vocabulary words. The text only version can be projected onto the Smart Board and students can draw pictures on the Smart Board that correspond to the text. Both booklets can be used for interactive notebook activities.
