There are two recollection practices in here and one partner activity.
One of the recollection practices ask students to identify the "different expression" from a set of three expressions that appear on the note sheet also available on TPT.
The other recollection practices is asking students to fill in a mock conversation logically using vocabulary. There are multiple blanks for those expressions of more than one word to help students deduce the correct answer. It practices formal and information words.
The partner activity is called "Hear It/Say it" There is a formal and informal practice version of this activity. There are two pages per file. One partner takes the first and his/her partner takes the other.
To use, find under the "mouth icon" a set of stars find under the "mouth icon" on one page. The student with the stars says that expression in French. His/Her partner will be listening and will find the matching clip art image under the "ear icon" on his/her page. Sliding his/her finger across the row, that students will say the expression under the "mouth icon". Now the partner is listening and will find the matching icon under the "ear icon" on his/her page. Sliding his/her finger across, he/she will say the expression on the same line. The process continues until all the expressions are said and the pair ends up back at the starred expression.
I practice a few times, have students swap papers and then partners. Great bell-ringer- "Finish the entire activity including swapping papers with your partner before the bell or within a set time frame (2 minutes)"
