Use this French questioning booklet to work on student comprehension. Every student will be engaged with this activity.
Make a booklet with the questioning words you use most often and give each student a little booklet and a dry erase marker.
After a story or other activity, ask students a question, ex. Who are the characters in the story?.
Have each student write the answer in the provided box before reviewing the answer or asking a student to answer the question.
This allows each student to engage with the question and the learning activity. Every student will use their thinking skills. Review the answer with the group. If cards are laminated, the dry erase marker can be erased with a sock or tissue.
Hang the booklets on the side of student desks so they are always available when you want to work on questioning and comprehension skills.
