This is a fun game to practice demonstrative adjectives, and though I've included vocabulary for four categories (family, school, restaurant, voyage), you can use any vocabulary you're currently working on. The original powerpoint is included so you can easily modify the vocabulary used and play this game over and over. All you need to play the game is a group of students and a set of dice.
➯ This resource is included in my Ça y est, je parle français! French 1 curriculum bundle!
Included in this dice game:
How to play
96 game cards to print and cut out
Black and white version
Student scoring and answer sheet
I've included game and scoring instructions, four categories to play with and some suggestions to modify the game according to the level of your students. There are many, many ways to modify this game. Once you get the hang of it, your students will too. You'll be able to play this game with many different grammar categories.
The game should last 15-30 minutes, depending on how much vocabulary you want to use. This activity is just as good for reviewing vocabulary and gender as it is for using demonstrative adjectives. Let me know if you come up with some neat ways to spice it up!
This game is a highly effective review game for either small groups with students playing amongst themselves, or for playing as a class with larger groups.
