Product Description
Looking for a way to get your students up and speaking in the future proche? Here's a fun activity to use. This activity is ideal for reviewing the future proche and getting up and moving/talking at the end of the school week since it provides students a structured format to discuss what they plan to do over the weekend.

This file includes FOUR activities:
-- a preview reading activity for students to preview the vocabulary and answer each question individually at their own pace
-- two versions of the speaking activity (one with extra follow-up questions!)
-- two follow-up writing activities
-- a vocabulary sheet to help review all the necessary vocabulary.

Directions: Students move around the room asking each other questions and trying to find as many positive responses as possible. If a student answers a question affirmatively, the question-asker will have the other student write his/her name in the square provided. For an added incentive, you can make it a competition and have students try to either fill as many squares as possible in a specific time limit or try to find answers in lines of 5 "Bingo" style! Once a student has filled in their speaking board, they can complete the follow-up writing activity writing about what they learned about their classmate's weekends.

To make this activity more complicated, have the students can ask follow-up questions such as "Quel film?" or "Où?" to the student who answers affirmatively. This extra information can be included in the box and used on the follow-up writing worksheet.

Then, students can share out what they learned about their classmates' summers as well as share their own information out loud as a class.
