French Flipchart Numbers 0-12
This interactive flipchart for Promethean/Activ Board is a great introductory French lesson for numbers 0-12. After listing the objectives, the lesson opens with a review of French pronunciation. The next page teaches vocabulary words with color-coded terms. This flipchart contains interactive games that students may play on the Activ Board, as well as links to websites which contain games to support the lesson (if your browser supports). These games include: directions to a whole class game of “123,” addition of numbers 0-12, The Price is Right, and Show Down! Following this, is a slide that allows the class to review and close the lesson. Last, is an individual journal activity. For this, you can break your class into groups, so that they are all working on different journal entries, or you can pick one and have the entire class do it.

*The suggested grade level of this lesson varies on the students’ prior knowledge of the French language. In my opinion, it is suitable for grades K-3, but students above or below these grades may also benefit, depending on prior knowledge and concepts. Please read description of lesson, and review thumbnails and preview to determine if this lesson is appropriate for your French students.
