This activity can be used in a center or sent home for home practice. French Fry Facts are essentially flash cards in a fun form.
Copy the French Fry sleeves and have students color and cut out the sleeves. Each sleeve should be cut out in 1 single piece, folding down the middle to form the bottom of the sleeve pocket. Use a little glue down the sides to seal the sleeve shut, leaving the top unglued so you can slip the French fries into the pocket.
Copy the French Fries onto yellow paper (or students can color them). Students will fill in the answers to the facts and cut the fries apart. Finished Fries go into pocket answer side first. When all the fries are completed, students can use the fries like flash cards, checking their answers by pulling them out. Students can also make it into a game, taking turns pulling fries and answering addition or subtraction problems.
