The King's Cake is traditionally eaten during the King's Feast in January on the first Sunday of the month yet is also eaten until "Mardi Gras"!
Enjoy this simple recipe for Gâteau des Rois that I have adapted from an English recipe. Enjoy a yummy cake with the decorating colours of Mardi Gras - purple, green and gold.
This is a complementary product to my product called: Fête des Rois - King's Feast also found at my store. La Fête des Rois product includes a written description of the holiday, a matching excercise, word search, a Vrai/Faux activity and a vocabulary list of pertinent vocabulary for the holiday.
