Potion d’amour # 9
A story in the present tense with an embedded
logic puzzle using the prepositions:
À côté de
À droite de
À gauche de
Students read the story, respond to questions about it, and complete the logic puzzle in the story. The puzzle requires them to read clues that use a variety of prepositions to find out where each bottle is located in the witch’s cupboard.
Follow-up activities could be to have students write their own logic puzzle or have them finish the story.
Includes lots of Halloween vocabulary like sorcière et araignée
This is a great activity for a TPRS classroom or just a sub-day lesson plan! The story can easily be adjusted to any reading level. I currently use it with my French 2, and it's a good challenge for them.
