I use these pages as an introduction to Halloween Vocabulary for my FSL students. You can use this first page as a poster on the smartboard or projector. You can print it and display it in your classroom, or give each student a copy as a reference.
There are three types of assessment pages, a reading assessment where the student draw the pictures to show comprehension, an IEP accommodated reading assessment which has the words below as a reference and a writing assessment where students write down vocabulary words using pictures as a guide. There is also a wordsearch, a costume anchor chart and a writing activity about costumes.
Use the picture words, cut them out and create a matching game or bingo cards.
