Product Description
Teach students when to use "tu" or "vous" in basic conversations. Stay in the target language over 90% of the time and keep the fun times going the first few weeks of class with the activities and games in this lesson that will allow even students with zero French knowledge to function in the target language in your classroom within the first few days of school.

This lesson is designed for the secondary classroom (6-12+) and teaches basic conversations in both the informal (tu) register and formal (vous) register. It also reenters vocabulary from the previous six lessons in the unit, and could be easily adapted for the primary classroom.

The lesson includes the following:
-learning objectives
-vocabulary list
-3 pages of detailed teacher procedures
-Input activities with student handouts (reading/listening)
-Output activities (speaking/writing)
-instructions for basic conversation skit activity (with both tu and vous) and best skit class competition

Your students will amaze themselves with what they will be able to do by the end of this lesson! This is a great way to set the tone for your classroom and create an immersion experience starting the first few weeks. This is the last of seven lessons that make up the first unit that I do with my French I classes that takes about 2.5 to 3 weeks on block scheduling.

As with all of my products, this lesson is classroom tested!:)
