French immersion video animation by Language Learning Lab aims to enable children to listen, learn and express key vocabulary from this popular French song - Alouette, gentille, alouette (148 seconds)! ❤️

This level 1 resource contains the following:
✔ Alouette in video animation
✔ Large and small images of key vocabulary from the song
✔ Additional images of body parts so that the song lyrics can be adapted
✔ Checklist of key vocabulary

It is well known that music and singing are great ways to introduce children to the pattern and rhythm of language. Lots of French vocabulary can be discussed: Nouns - beak, eyes, head, back; from the background - sky, flowers, houses, flats, clouds; verbs - pluck! etc. A short song can bring so many language rich conversations!

Please see the PREVIEW for more information!
