Teach basic infinitive construction in the present tense with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person singular pronouns for several high frequency -er, -ir, -re and irregular verbs while staying in the target language over 90% of the time with this dynamic lesson!

This lesson is designed for the secondary classroom (6-12+), and could be easily adapted for the primary classroom It reenters vocabulary and structures from the previous lesson in the unit, lesson 5-1.

avoir de la fièvre
boire de l’eau/du café
tondre le gazon/la pelouse

faire du camping (du vélo, la fête, les courses au supermarché)
lire (le journal, un roman)
écrire les poèmes
rester à la maison
sortir avec des ami(e)s/sortir les ordures

Your students will amaze themselves with what they will be able to do by the end of this lesson! This is the second of six lessons that make my unit on infinitives and immediate future that I do with my French I classes before we do our present tense unit with storytelling, which you can also purchase in my store. The infinitives unit takes about 3 weeks on block scheduling.
