Brought to you by Marché du Chat Noir (Le Chat Noir), this pack includes a fun activity to teach students about surveys and different types of graphs.
Students colour different clothing for their bunny based on how they answer different questions. For instance, they colour the bunny’s hat blue if they prefer winter, green if they prefer spring, red if they prefer summer and yellow if they prefer fall. The colour coded survey, complete with pictures of each option, makes it easy for students to understand the words and what colour they need to colour each piece of clothing. Once each student dressed their bunny, the students look at the bunnies and graph the results. Students complete bar graphs for favourite season, celebration and food, and a pictograph for favourite winter activity and hobby.
This pack includes:
Page 1: Colour coded survey and legend

I have used this activity in my own primary French Immersion classroom, and my students love it! They love dressing up the bunnies and I love the vocabulary and graphing skills they learn through this activity.
