Each of the 24 task cards has a number between 100-999 written in words. Students must read the number and record their answer in digits on the response sheet provided.
This works great for grade 3 French Immersion curriculum, or FSL intermediate grades.
How can I use task cards?
- Have students search for cards around the room and answer as many as they can.
- Once students have been given practice, place a card on each student's desk. Give them an allotted time to respond, and then ring a bell to move to the next card. Much like a worksheet but kids enjoy the movement.
- Place an a math center
- Have students play a game with them (i.e., in partners, students can flip a card and the first one to repined correctly gets a point.)
