This activity produces repetition with "what is your name?", "my name is...", and numbers. The kids practiced reading, writing, speaking, and listening all with numbers 1-99. Additionally, students can learn about the format of French phone numbers for a cultural element. You can make this activity long or short.
For my level one classes, I made these phone number cards and printed them out on cardstock to have one class set. Each student received a half-sheet chart and one card with a fake phone number on it.
The kids walked around the classroom asking each other "what is your name?" (and writing it underneath "mon partenaire") then "what is your number?". After reading each other their fake numbers and writing down what their partner said, the students exchanged cards and went on to the next person!
