I developed this list of French one verbs because I had an exchange program with a French High School. I wanted my students to be able to communicate sufficiently after one year of study in order to adapt without too much language difficulty to French home life. So, the French One Verb List has more than four hundred verbs of which more than half are ER verbs. It will permit your students to quickly begin to talk about their family, their school life, their sports activities and past times while learning how to ask a variety of questions concerning directions, tourism, shopping and weather which of course is really important when visiting a francophone country. It is true that practice makes perfect. Therefore I have given you three hundred sentences to translate covering the first three pages of verbs along with suggestions of how to use them beyond simple translation. Lastly there are three fun oral activities each including thirty questions for students to practice with.
