Object pronoun (Le or La level 1) is a good beginning.
Basic verbs such as “avoir”, “être”, “manger” and “acheter”
*Remind students consistently that while “le, la les” is fine, “du, de de la, des” is more in reference to SOME of a thing that we cannot count. While in english we do not always say “some” in french we always do. For example, I bought oranges and J'ai acheté des oranges.
