I made these cards to practice when to use the imparfait or passe compose forms of verbs in French. Students are given a sentence in French, with the verb in English. They have to decide based on the content of the sentence if they should use the passe compose or the imparfait, then write the verb in French correctly.
These cards include a variety of regular verbs plus several verbs that have irregular present tense nous forms.
Includes 24 cards, answer sheet, and answer key. In order to use these, I printed them out, cut them out, then laminated them and cut them out. I have several pockets all over my classroom, and put one card in each pocket. Students are directed to take their paper around the room, writing their answers as they find cards. My students like to be out of their seats and moving around.
I found this an excellent review before a quiz!
