This book incorporates a “mission” that main character, Jenny, must complete. This is presented as a story in which Jenny must rescue her brother, Bob, from the castle.
. . . One day, Bob went to the castle but never came back. Jenny’s French teacher, Mademoiselle (who tutors at the castle) found a note there. She knows where Bob might be hiding. But Mademoiselle won’t give Jenny the note until she finishes ALL her passé composé homework. SIGH!
Using the premise of this story, students (and Jenny) will complete exercises (starting with the 4 worksheets) in this resource. The task card activity (pages 14 to 17) will give students letters and they will discover the clue Mademoiselle found at the castle. This will help Jenny find her missing brother!
