Description

The 41-slide PowerPoint teaches students how to talk about their possessions. The group and interactive activities help students practice speaking, reading and writing using les adjectifs possessifs. These resources and lessons are a complete lesson on the French possessive adjectives. Digital versions are included for distance learning.

This PowerPoint, “Les adjectifs possessifs for French One” contains the following:

  • A chart explaining the possessive adjectives, “mon, ma, mes, ton, ta, tes, son, sa, ses, leurs, leurs”
  • The French possessive adjectives used in context with visuals
  • A check for understanding with visuals
  • A chart explaining the possessive adjectives, “notre, nos”
  • A chart explaining the possessive adjectives, “votre, vos”
  • A check for understanding with visuals
  • A practice in which students translate sentences into French
  • A practice in which students change sentences with “de” to sentences using the French possessive adjective. (For example: C’est le chien de Michel. Alors, c’est son chien. OR Les sacs sont à nous. Ce sont nos sacs.)
  • A practice in which students answer questions about their family
