French Questions PowerPoint and Activities is a complete lesson on how to form yes / no questions in French beginning with the explanation / demonstration performed with moving parts of speech, checking for understanding, guided practice and assessment at the end of each segment. The first few questions of each quiz can be used for checking for understanding. A Google Slides digital is version included for distance learning. The activities also practice inversion.

The PowerPoint lesson includes the use of, "est-ce que, est-ce qu' and inversion" to form questions in French. Les mots interrogatifs are not included in the PowerPoint.


  • La concurrence Questions with Est-ce que: Students change the sentences to questions using "est-ce que".
  • Questions Competition using L'inversion: Students change the questions from EST-CE QUE to inversion (Est-ce qu'elle travaille à l'école ? Travaille-t-elle à l'école ?)
