With this resource, students will create dynamic Historical Digital Posters illustrating the French Revolution with images, texts, and graphics representative of that period of history.

Historical Posters bring to life past events that not only impacted local society - but ultimately revolutionized and influenced the entire world!

This high-interest technology project uses the free website, Adobe Spark! You can use Adobe Spark to create the dynamic digital posters from ANY device (from iPads to Chromebooks)!

Materials, such as the grading rubric and an editable student project handout, are provided. Directions on how to create posters using Adobe Spark and a link to a brief how-to YouTube tutorial is also linked on the students’ project sheets!

This resource provides all that you will need for successful implementation from start to finish!

Sample topics for students to feature on their posters are included:

• Major Factors that Led to the Start of the French Revolution
• The Treaty of Versailles
• Enlightenment Political Thought
• Economic Troubles and Injustices
• Government Corruption
• The Estates General
• Storming of the Bastille
• Execution of Louis XVI
• The National Convention
• Reign of Terror
• Rise and fall of Napoléon
• Influential People (Examples - Marie Antoinette, King Louis XVI, Napoleon Bonaparte, Jacques Necker, Maximilien Robespierre, Marquis De Lafayette)

This resource provides links to THREE dynamic French Revolution project examples to serve as a model for your students. The sample posters designed for this project will spark your students’ imaginations and motivate them to create and design their own!
