In this French Revolution activity, students must seat 8 people from the French Revolution around a dinner table by thinking critically about their lives and interests. They make connections between different figures and explain what each pair at the table will think about and discuss.
This is an awesome Common Core-aligned project taps into students' higher-level thinking because they have to fully understand each of the 8 French Revolution figures and demonstrate their knowledge through a real world type application.
Included are 2 worksheet options, each with a dinner table on which your students draw and fill out their answers. One option features a rectangular table where students place the people in pairs. The other option is a round table where students have to connect each person to the two people next to them.
Also included are a set of 8 brief biographies that quickly summarize the major revolutionary figures students need to know for World History.
