This is a great activity to do with middle school/high school level one when looking at school supplies. It connects them to a real French website and makes them sift through for comprehensible input and gain valuable experience in stamina and blocking out unneeded information. This works very well as a partner activity for scaffolding if you do not have enough technology to complete individually. I would also recommend introducing students to the website and teaching them how to search before beginning. Also, lined paper is very different in France than in the US (they use gridded paper), so make sure to "preview" that. Then, walk around as a facilitator during the process.
My students loved the fact that THEY got to choose which types of school supplies they bought and being able to use technology. I used this very successfully with a middle school French 1 class.
