This “matching game”(VERSION B) is played in groups of about 5 students and can be played as a shorter game or a longer one depending upon how many “cards” you plan to copy for each group of students. There are 40 pairs of “School supplies” related picture cards to use. A school supplies picture is on one card and the French vocabulary is found on the second card to help with vocabulary development. Asking students to read the name of the card out loud when it is their turn also promotes French oral work.
This game can be played with beginner or more advanced French language students.
The teacher directions are written in English and the picture cards are written in French for the vocabulary.
