The point of this assignment is to assess students on their knowledge of vocabulary related to foods and preferences. Students have to decorate a blank pizza template with the toppings that they like. In order to get them talking about dislikes as well, I get them to draw the toppings they don't like outside of the pizza template with an X through them. The things they draw on their pizza serve as their "cues." If you do a simple Google search, you will be able to find a blank pizza template to use for this assignment. I can't include the one I use here due to copyright issues.
Included is an outline to give to students, as well as a rubric for grading the assignment.
