One of the hardest parts about teaching TPR/TPRS is transitioning kids from the first couple of weeks into the stories. In the beginning, we use a lot of the same words without reading or writing. This story connects those beginning "necessary" words to a written story that the kids can use from day one or two! It's great for teaching reading and retell procedures. It also helps students feel super confident about their skills from the get-go.
Note: this is a silly, funny story similar to one that you would create in the classroom with your kids. It's not meant to be serious or even normal :)
Necessary vocab for this story: il y a, un garçon, saute, court, marche, parle, arrête, regarde, se lève, pleure, frappe.
