DESCRIPTION: Wth these beautiful French city task cards your students will be able to:
- become familiar with 30 different French cities in France
- practice pronouncing French city names
- practice asking and answering I'm going to... Who's going to? using the verb aller in the present tense for the first and third person singular forms:
Je vais à
Qui va à ?....
HOW TO PLAY: Distribute cards to students. If you have less than thirty students you may distribute one card to a student. One student begins by stating: Je vais à Paris. Qui va à Versailles? The student with Versailles on the card than responds and asks the next question printed on the card. etc. Game will end with the same student who began the game.
A teacher key has been included for you to help students identify the places of interest depicted on each card.
As a follow up writing activity I have students use the internet to research a French city and write an informational paragraph on the post card I have for sale. (see my store)
