This “matching game” is played in groups of about 5 students and can be played as a shorter game or a longer one depending upon how many “cards” you plan to copy for each group of students. There are 27 pairs of Valentine’s Day related picture cards to use. Vocabulary is written on each card to help with vocabulary development. Asking students to read the name of the card out loud when it is their turn also promotes French oral work.
This game can be played with beginner or more advanced French language students.
