This is an excellent activity to write sentences in French in the present tense. After reviewing how to conjugate a verb, students can use a dice to find a pronoun and a verb. They can then conjugate the verb in the proper form according to the pronoun and finish the sentence. Each pronoun is associated with a number on the dice. Eg, 1= Je and 2= chanter. If the student rolls a one and a two, they would start the sentence with Je chante and finish it off. Sentences can be recorded on the page. Guide cards are also included that can be photocopied on cardstock, laminated and distributed to students to borrow, recording answers on lined paper.
A fun, excellent way to get kids writing sentences in French for the writing component of the Ontario Curriculum.
