This is a PowerPoint with DooodleNotes. The dooodlenotes are a better way from students to take notes rather than the old school way. I have learned that by doing doodlenotes with the PowerPoint, students ask better questions because they're writing, coloring, and more involved in the process. Also included in the PowerPoint are some questions that I let students work with elbow partners on. I let students use their devices to find the answers to these questions. There is an ERQ on the last PowerPoint slide that you can tweak and turn into a QuickWrite, one paragraph essay, or whatever you would like.
