This resource is a 5-Act, 25-role reader's theater script for the French and Indian War! Reader's Theater is an engaging instructional strategy for middle grade students that allows them to act out various historical scenes. This resource is a great review activity and assessment strategy. The acts are as follows:
Act I: The War Begins
Act II: Native American Involvement
Act III: The Turning Point at Quebec
Act IV: The Treaty of Paris
Act V: The Seeds of Revolution (The Proclamation Line of 1763)
Each act includes three questions for the class to discuss. There is a ten-question multiple choice quiz for students at the conclusion of the play for an assessment. Lastly, there is an extension activity in which students will create their own script for the Stamp Act.
