Get students thinking laterally about words they need to know around their classroom.
Part 1 of this worksheet gives a category, such as "to keep organised", or "can be erased", and asks students to add to the list of items possible. Part 2 lists sets of items and asks for the category that could be used to title each section. Students are then asked to add a word to each category themselves, and then to add a whole new category which a friend or the class can then guess.
You could build on these and play a guessing game in which students ask yes or no questions in order to guess which classroom object someone is thinking of.
